STAY AT HOME ~ PROTECT THE NHS ~ SAVE LIVES

Covid 19 Update 20th March 2020

Dear Parents and families,

As you are aware, school will be closing at 3:30pm today for the majority of children.

We will be remaining open for children whose parents are key workers. Please see full list at:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision

Only respond to this message if at least one parent is a key worker and the other parent is working. Please state both parents’ names, your roles/job, child’s name, child’s class. Please contact the school via email stbarnabas_office@warrington.gov.uk or by phone 01925 633606 by 1pm today to inform us.

If you have capacity to care for your child at home, please do not take up this provision to avoid further spread of the virus.

Despite the fact that we will not be able to open our doors to the majority of pupils from next week, we are still very much here to support our amazing children and families. Staff are working hard in school to prepare packs of work for children to complete at home and from Monday teachers will be setting lessons and activities everyday via our school website: www.stbarnabasceprimary@warrington.gov.uk

We will also be issuing food parcels and vouchers to families who need them, so please do not hesitate to contact school  if you have a worry and we will do everything we can to  help.

This is a difficult time for everyone and the situtation is changing day by day. Please remember that we are here to support you and your family in everyway we can. The school building will remain open and you reach school via email or phone.

Take good care and look after oneanother.

Yours sincerely,

Miss J Hodgkinson
