Ethos Group / Team Spirit

At St Barnabas School, our vision of 'Letting our light shine' is at the heart of everything we do.

Team Spirit is a collective group of children from Key Stage Two. The aim of the group is to promote the school vision and Christian values through a range of activities and roles, which make a positive impact on the school, local and wider community.

What Team Spirit do...

Help support the organisation of charity events such a red nose day and Christian aid week.

Develop 'Big question' weekly discussions in class.

Evaluate worship across the school.

Manage outdoor reflection activities and areas.

Feedback suggestions from their peers of how we can let our light shine.

"I chose to be in Team Spirit because I love doing jobs which make a difference to our school, it is good to help each other." Lexi-Grace

"Being a member of Team spirit, I can help people in school and in the community.'' Kyle

"It's interesting, being a member helps us to make our school better." Ella
