I am delighted to share the outcome  of our  recent Ofsted Inspection with you. As you know our recent Ofsted  Inspection took place on 13th December, 2018 and we received a good outcome.

I am extremely pleased with the report – the inspection framework has changed significantly in recent years and become increasingly demanding. It is therefore to the credit of the staff, governors, parents and pupils of St Barnabas that this is such a good report.

The report states that:

·  Since the previous inspection, standards have risen and pupils achieve well, leaders are aspirational for the school.

·  St Barnabas is welcoming and inclusive and firmly rooted in Christian values.

·  Pupils behave very well, staff teach children to value differences and care for others, this is reflected in pupils’ calm           and considerate behaviour.

·  There is a strong focus on pupil well-being.

·  Pupils help others and develop as kind and caring and resilient individuals who are well-prepared for the next stage of      education.

·  The curriculum is carefully planned and engaging, enhanced by many extra-curricular clubs and trips.
