Collective Worship

Worship at St.Barnabas School

Worship is at the heart of the St Barnabas school community.

Each term our school worship is rooted in a Christian value. A range of inspirational approaches and resources are adopted during our worship, with opportunities to pause, reflect, sing and pray, enabling all to flourish.

'It makes me feel joyful, being together' Laila

'It makes me feel differently about the world, and to look after it' Bartek

'It makes me feel inspirational and that God will always be with me, he won't let me give up'  Jemima

Whole school worship takes place on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Individual class worship happens once a week with each class supporting and leading the worship each term. We celebrate Christian and multi-faith festivals throughout the year as well as holding regular Eucharist services in school and at Church.

Each class have the opportunity to lead whole school worship throughout the year both in school and in church. All members of our community are welcome to join our weekly worship.

Parents have the right to withdraw their child from worship, please discuss with Miss Hodgkinson if this is your wish.
