Climate Education

At St Barnabas CE Primary School, we are passionate about empowering our children with the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive difference to both their own and nature's future.
We are part of the National Education Nature Park and our Science Ambassadors have worked with the children in our school to create our climate vision. Our curriculum exposes children to the real life problems that are affected by climate change, from EYFS to Year 6, starting with an appreciation of the world around them to understanding more complex issues, that they can help to solve. This page shares our climate vision and some of the activities that we participate in, at our school.
